Hayabusa Special Livery

I wanted to build the fire scheme on the Hayabusa bike for a long time before attempting it. I looked for many reference on the net and finally found one thats suitable to my taste. The whole fire scheme is air-brushed painted with maskings. Quite a pain-staking process of needing to draw the fire on a paper, transfering the drawn pic to masking tape before cutting, applying and lastly painting. I even cut out the jap "haybusa" word, 隼, using a chrome decal and applied it on the back of the bike. I entered this bike into 2006 Tamiya Model Competition together with the Rossi's Honda bike. Unfortunately it doesnt win anything but still its still one of my proud project.
